Heart to Home Midwifery is a home birth midwife agency run by Abby, who serves West L.A. and surrounding areas. She has been licensed since 2017 as a midwife and has experience working at two of L.A.’s premiere birth centers. Above all, she manages a private practice that has helped hundreds of women and families.
She believes that pregnancy and birth are transcendent experiences that transform a woman into the mother she is destined to be. Abby provides individualized, holistic care to her patients, building strong relationships with them. Her services support the whole body: mind, body, and spirit. She helps women realize their intuition and innate ability to make the best decisions for themselves. She strives to come alongside women during pregnancy and childbirth, sharing the sacred space with them as they become a parent.

Abby provides personalized, woman-centered care to mothers and families, approaching pregnancy and birth from a natural and holistic perspective. She acknowledges that there are times when medical intervention is necessary. But she strives to provide the most natural birth experience possible.
Services include free phone and in-person consultations, preconception counseling, IUI and ICI, comprehensive and holistic midwifery services, homebirth support, VBAC (vagina birth after cesarean) support, waterbirth support, monitoring care for hospital births, and 24 access to a midwife.
Comprehensive prenatal care is provided, combining eastern and western philosophies. Labor functions best with minimal intervention and interruption, and midwives provide nurturing, supportive care throughout the entire process.
Specialty
Heart to Home Midwifery also offers Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI) in the privacy of clients’ homes. These services occur outside of the traditional clinical setting. Allowing families to choose the music, dim the lights, and relax as midwives handle the procedures with care.
