A Mother’s Haven is a one-stop shop for expecting and new parents in the Encino area. At A Mother’s Haven, the mission is to provide expectant and new parents with a welcoming, supportive environment to receive empowerment, education, and products needed to begin their parenting journey.
This 2,500-square-foot boutique features a variety of hand-selected items designed for moms, dads, and babies. A Mother’s Haven has supported countless new parents in the San Fernando Valley since 2002. The store carries:

diapers,
accessories, and much more.
They also have an education center that provides private and intimate classes for families of babies and toddlers.
Products/Services
A Mother’s Haven carries extensive breastfeeding supplies and pumps, infant apparel, toys and books, diapers, and accessories. This boutique also offers an education center that offers a variety of classes suitable for families from pregnancy through parenting toddlers.
Prenatal classes support families through the birthing process and teach parents how to care for newborns and keep them safe. After delivery, A Mother’s Haven offers a Mother’s Gathering, a Mommy and Me class (there is also a Daddy and Me class) that gives them a special space to bond with other parents in the same journey, forming a sense of community.
In addition, music and baby sign language classes stimulate a baby’s cognitive and physical development, giving them a great start to a lifetime of learning.
Specialty
A Mother’s Haven offers an all-new Home Delivery Service that allows clients to receive a hospital-grade breast pump (the Medela Symphony), new parent essentials, and much more right on their doorstep. All they have to do is select “Delivery Location” at checkout, and the store will contact them to coordinate delivery.
Classes are taught in person or on Zoom, and topics include Breastfeeding 101, Caring for Your Newborn, Infant CPR and Family Safety, and childbirth preparation classes. There are also music classes, fitness classes, story times, and various workshops and events.
The boutique offers breast pump rentals of hospital-grade breast pumps for two weeks, one month, three months, or six months. Clients can also rent an infant scale for weighted feedings. A Mother’s Haven also offers private lactation consultations for new moms that need breastfeeding support and lactation assistance. An IBCLC does all consultations.
